Lean Management Director

As a Lean Management Director at AKWEL, you will play a key role in driving operational excellence across the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to intervene on different sites to provide operational support, leveraging your industrial expertise to improve performance.
Key Responsibilities- Define, develop, and improve the AKWEL Production System based on the Toyota Production System (TPS)
- Implement the system across five axes: tools, managerial, roles, routines, and visual management
- Coordinate actions for implementing lean manufacturing methods in plants according to defined standards
- Train and coach employees on lean methods and tools
- Check the respect and correct application of the system through regular audits
- Coordinate task forces to converge standards toward APS best practices
- Guide Group plants toward autonomy by designing and deploying training modules
- Lead the activity with priorities and projects defined by Industrial Strategy and Operations Group EVP
- 15-20 years of experience and practice of the TPS or FES or VPS with experience in supply chain
- Senior Expert manager with supervisory and mentoring skills, leadership spirit, active listening skills, communications abilities, rigor, management skills, analytical and synthetic thinking, organization skills
- Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proficiency in English; Spanish would be a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and good working knowledge of project management, product development, and industrialization at Akwel
