Your Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to enhance our Supply Chain Finance operational team. If you possess a passion for Supply Chain and have a proven track record in optimizing the financial performance of manufacturing operations, particularly in project-driven environments, we want to hear from you.

Your Mission

Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will serve as a Finance Business Partner to the Production Center Manager, delivering critical financial insights such as product cost analysis, equipment project tracking, and inventory management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and challenge action plans aimed at improving performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Business Partnership:

  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing leaders to drive performance across various functions (Supply Chain, Engineering, Services).

Cost Control (Actual and Forecast):

  • Deliver comprehensive analyses, insights, and KPIs to support and challenge the Production Center Director and other stakeholders, focusing on:
    • Product cost analysis, including detailed cost evolution assessments.
    • Monthly reviews of project performance, planning updates, and revised cost forecasts.
    • Factory utilization metrics and absorption forecasts.
    • Inventory management, including raw materials and work-in-progress, in close collaboration with sourcing.
    • Support for CAPEX business case preparation and ROI tracking.
    • OPEX reviews, analysis, and forecasting with action plans for deviations.
    • Analysis of non-quality costs (scrapping, rework, material discrepancies).
    • Assist in the evaluation of prototypes and pre-series by providing product cost analyses and supporting cost reduction initiatives.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate on annual budgets and quarterly/monthly forecasts with department heads.
  • Monitor budget compliance and provide insights and action plans for any deviations.
  • Work with various functions to present action plans that maximize deliverables and profitability.
  • Adjust forecasts based on market changes and business needs, delivering plans to optimize performance.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure adherence to Sidel's policies across functions within the Production Center.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and systems for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Share recommendations with central teams to improve existing analyses and tools.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging financial technologies.

Your Profile

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Finance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Controlling.
  • Strong technical skills in controlling.
  • Background in Industrial Engineering is essential.
  • Extensive experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, and PS in an international industrial setting.
  • Advanced proficiency in information systems tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lead within a matrix organization.
  • Results-driven approach.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in the local language is a plus.
