Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Plumber Assistant to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems throughout our hotel, administration, and marina buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
  • Install new plumbing systems and fixtures, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, using advanced troubleshooting techniques and tools.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and maintenance staff to ensure seamless operation of hotel facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair history.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in plumbing maintenance and repair.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; NQF 4 certificate and above preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
