About the Role

The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will be part of the engineering team based in Paris and the wider global discipline engineering community. The successful candidate will demonstrate relevant expertise in flow assurance and have additional competencies in CFD and/or process, allowing for diversification of jobs in addition to flow assurance.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Control relevant discipline engineering activities to ensure completion of safe and operable design in accordance with Genesis and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations, and codes.
  • Review job scope and provide estimates and schedules.
  • Communicate regularly with Client/Study Manager to ensure objectives are being met in a timely manner.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines.
  • Perform simulation of selected cases as defined by project.
  • Undertake calculations in accordance with Genesis and project quality requirements.
  • Develop engineering strategies, philosophies, and procedures.
  • Perform quality checks of discipline models, calculations, and reports.
  • Participate in project presentations to communicate results.
  • Review all data requested by Client for approval.
  • Participate in safety and design review meetings, where necessary.
  • Provide support to younger engineers and mentor assigned personnel.
  • Participate in Genesis global knowledge sharing initiatives within their engineering discipline.
  • Perform all reasonable job tasks required by their Manager/Lead.
  • Capacity to lead small discipline engineering teams and/or lead small projects.
  • Sustain a high-value Safety culture and assure a safe working environment in keeping with Technip Energies programme and of Client requirements (in offices and on-site environments).
  • Be responsible for follow-up and management of QHSE on projects and assigned personnel.

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' engineering experience, with at least 5-10 years dedicated to Flow Assurance experience using software such as OLGA. Experience in CFD studies and associated software would be a plus. The candidate should also have a minimum education of a master's degree in a relevant subject and be proficient in English, with French language skills being preferable.
