Genesis Oil and Gas Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Senior Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering added value energy solutions to our clients in the traditional hydrocarbon and energy industries.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and approve all data requested by clients for approval.
- Sustain a high value Safety culture and assure a safe working environment in keeping with Technip Energies programme and of Client requirements.
- Manage QHSE on projects and assigned personnel.
- Develop and implement flow assurance strategies to optimize energy solutions.
- Collaborate with international offices and clients to deliver high-quality results.
- Minimum 10 years' engineering experience or at least 8 years' experience in the oil and gas industry specifically.
- Minimum of 5-10 years dedicated to Flow Assurance experience using in particular OLGA.
- Experience in typical software such as OLGA, Pipesim, PVTSim, Multiflash, Ledaflow, Pipenet, Flowmaster, etc.
- Experience in CFD studies and associated software (Fluent, Star CCM+, Open Foam, etc) would be a plus.
- Knowledge of Process and past experience with associated software (Hysys, Unisim, K-spice, etc) would be a plus.
- Minimum education: master degree (or international equivalent) in a subject relevant to the engineering discipline.
- Excellent communication and social skills.
The Principal Flow Assurance Engineer will work in a dynamic and international environment, collaborating with clients and colleagues from diverse backgrounds. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The working language for the role is English, which is essential for effective communication with international offices and clients. French language skills are preferable but not essential.
Good computer literacy with particular competence in MS office software is required.
