Our Engineering team is pivotal in our exciting development journey, setting the benchmark for insurance pricing software in line with our ambitious roadmap.

We are seeking inquisitive and experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineers to help us enhance and realize our end-to-end pricing platform vision. This role involves expanding our modeling platform to create a live-rating solution that bridges our clients with their customers.

As a vital member of a dedicated task force responsible for new offerings, your primary role will involve participating in both the architecture and development of new features on the Akur8 platform. This includes navigating complex business logic across both front-end and back-end systems while managing substantial data volumes.

Key differentiators such as performance, speed, and user experience are integral to our software, driving us to deliver exceptional products while tackling a variety of challenging technical topics, including:

  • Cross-region replication and platform resilience with zero-downtime data migrations

Our back-end operates on Python 3, while the front-end is built using Angular 18, incorporating NgRx and Tailwind. We utilize Playwright for end-to-end test automation and Storybook for UI testing and documentation.

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented individual with a robust technical background and a proven history of fostering team growth. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s Degree (Bac+5) in Computer Science from a prestigious French engineering institution
  • A minimum of four years of experience as a software engineer
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one segment of our technology stack, whether it be back-end development in Python or front-end development with Angular/Typescript and Redux frameworks
  • Experience in developing features that handle large data volumes and optimizing system architecture
  • A commitment to producing high-quality code and a solid understanding of software development best practices
  • Fluency in spoken English

Additional professional experience with:

  • Complex and modern user interfaces (CSS) is a significant advantage.
