Job Description

At Faurecia, a leading automotive technology group, we are seeking a highly motivated and talented R&D Compounds Engineer Intern to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of new composite materials and technologies.

Your Mission

As an R&D Compounds Engineer Intern, your primary mission will be to assist project managers in the development of new composite materials. This will involve:

  • Carrying out market studies and scientific state-of-the-art research to identify new opportunities and trends in the field of composite materials.
  • Prospecting for new partners and suppliers to collaborate with on research and development projects.
  • Writing reports and presenting findings to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Defining experimental plans and carrying out experimental tests in our in-house laboratory to optimize composite performance and meet customer expectations.
Your Profile and Competencies

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented individual with a strong background in materials science and a passion for research and development. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in materials science or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of the physico-chemical properties of polymers and composites.
  • Experience with experimental characterization of polymer and composite materials.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English and French.
