Your Mission and Responsibilities

As an Intern R&D Compounds Engineer, you will be part of our MATERI'ACT division, which provides sustainable materials to Faurecia Business Groups. Your primary responsibility will be to support project managers in the development of new composite materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Conduct market studies, scientific research, and prospecting for new partners to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Experimental Support: Design and execute experimental plans to test the properties of composite materials, with a focus on reducing emissions, improving adhesion, and optimizing performance.
Your Profile and Competencies

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong background in materials science and engineering. Key qualifications include:

  • Student in the final year of engineering school or Master 2 in materials science, with a specialization in polymers and composites.
  • Strong knowledge of the physico-chemical properties of polymers, composites, and their manufacturing processes.
  • Experimental skills in characterization of polymer and composite materials, including DSC, TGA, IR, and tensile testing.
  • An inquisitive personality, rigorous in its scientific approach, dynamic, and autonomous in its actions.
  • Fluency in French and English (advanced level).
