Senior Platform Engineering Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team and drive the improvement of our delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure and experience in managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Platform Engineering Team and provide guidance on technical decisions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to improve code delivery pipelines using Ansible/Jenkins.
  • Ensure smooth releases and monitor platform availability and performance using Kibana/Logic Monitor/Open Telemetry.
  • Process support tickets, determine incident root causes, and add new alerts to our monitoring platform.
  • Improve our monitoring stack and work on the migration to public cloud using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills and strong troubleshooting ability.
  • 2+ years of experience in building pipelines and/or monitoring production environments in the cloud and on premises.
  • Experience working in Windows/IIS/SQLServer environments and good experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Good knowledge of networking systems and experience with Docker, Terraform, and Ansible.
  • Fluent in French and English and familiar with or ready to take on-call duties.

Nice to Have:

  • Microsoft Azure and Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience with monitoring/metric tools.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in payment/regulated industry and previous experience or background in cybersecurity and PCI-DSS.
  • Experience working at high scale with systems like Apache Kafka, ElasticSearch, or others.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and CI tools and contribution to a major open-source project.
