Position Overview: This role is integral to the Accounting Department and reports directly to the Accounting Team Leader. The primary objective is to ensure efficient service delivery through the execution of various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute a variety of activities related to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures.
  • Calculate and record manual journal entries at the end of each month, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Facilitate Inter-Company reconciliations to ensure accuracy across entities.
  • Oversee the management of Fixed Assets.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including purchasing, sales, and finance.
  • Assist in fulfilling additional reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Support finance-related projects as needed.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role.
  • Familiarity with SAP is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Capable of working under pressure, especially during tight closing deadlines.
  • Able to thrive in a multi-tasking environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, facilitating open and direct interactions with colleagues and management.
  • Skilled in producing clear, accurate, and concise analyses for senior management review.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work environment.
