Biomethane Process Engineering Leader

ENGIE's Renewable Gases Europe (RGE) Division is dedicated to becoming a leading force in biomethane production across Europe. Our ambitious goal is to reach 10 TWh/y of biomethane production capacity by 2030, expanding our operations throughout the continent.
We are actively developing projects in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Poland, and Italy, with Spain, Portugal, and Romania also on our radar. Our strategy encompasses both greenfield development and strategic acquisitions to inject biomethane into existing gas grids or produce bioLNG.
Your Role: Biomethane Process Engineering Leader
Reporting directly to the Engineering Director, you will lead a team of process engineers dedicated to delivering exceptional results across all stages of RGE projects. Your responsibilities encompass:
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, integrate, and mentor a talented team of process engineers specializing in mechanical, biological, and gas processes relevant to RGE activities.
- Project Delivery Excellence: Manage the workload of your team, ensuring optimal allocation of resources across diverse projects. Oversee all aspects of process engineering from preliminary design through detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation.
- Industrialization and Reliability: Integrate industrialization principles into project designs, establish robust processes and tools to ensure high-quality deliverables, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.
Your Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering within the energy, water treatment, or waste management industries, preferably in an EPC contractor environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams in a project-driven setting.
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and collaboration.
