We are currently working with a client in the metal fabrication and locksmithing industry, based in Dijon, to find a Design Engineer (M/F).

Job Description

As a Design Engineer in Metal Fabrication and Locksmithing, you will be part of the design team and work closely with economists and project managers. Your main responsibilities will include designing and developing plans and schematics for metal fabrication and installation projects.

You will be responsible for creating detailed drawings of metal components and structures using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will also produce fabrication plans and execution drawings for workshops and construction sites.

You will participate in the development of technical solutions, ensuring compliance with current regulations and project-specific requirements. You will also be responsible for technical project management, working closely with production and assembly teams to ensure quality and conformity.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for communication with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth project coordination.

Required Profile

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in industrial design, metal construction, or a related field. You should have significant experience in a similar role, preferably in the metal fabrication and locksmithing industry.

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and SolidWorks, is essential. You should be meticulous and methodical, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

You should have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment. You should be able to propose innovative technical solutions and contribute to the company's growth and development.
