Role Overview
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Head of PMO within the Global Technology division, taking charge of portfolio management and budget oversight.
You will play a pivotal role in supporting the PMO team in constructing and overseeing the R&D budget. Your collaboration with business stakeholders will be essential in managing quarterly budget distributions and formulating multi-year budgets based on operational assumptions, ensuring precise cost predictions upon project completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the Global Technology R&D budget by proposing and executing the financial framework.
- Develop reporting mechanisms, extracting and manipulating data to optimize the investment ratio, enabling future revenue generation, maintaining essential maintenance levels to enhance existing assets, and minimizing overhead costs (RUN).
- Continuously assess the alignment of the R&D Budget & Portfolio with the corporate strategy: Monitor and adjust the investment profile between Android and Proprietary OS and Solutions investments.
- Enhance the financing approach for R&D: Maximize the financial contributions from CIR and CAPI, and optimize offshoring levels.
- Collaborate with senior management to construct the annual terminals budget and ensure alignment with financial information.
- Evaluate the agility of R&D in delivering appropriate solutions to both internal and external clients; provide and disseminate KPIs reflecting scope realization and project variables (budget, timeline, costs, quality, risks, etc.).
- Monitor performance and implement risk and change management principles.
Candidate Profile
You possess a Bachelor's Degree in science, mathematics, or related disciplines, along with a postgraduate qualification in data analytics or a similar field, demonstrating a strong interest in IT tools and systems. You have over 5 years of experience in financial analysis, business administration, general accounting, and cost accounting, with a background in R&D project management. Familiarity with the electronic payment sector is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerBI.
- Solid understanding of budgetary management and accounting principles and practices.
- Capable of preparing and presenting complex written and verbal reports.
- Strong analytical mindset coupled with creative problem-solving abilities.
- Quick learner in a dynamic environment.
- Proven capability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and possess strong negotiation skills.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
