Mission Overview

Reporting directly to the financial controller of the I&C Business Unit in France, and closely collaborating with the Senior Project Manager and Project Managers, the individual will play a crucial role as a business partner to the I&C project leaders, contributing to the promotion of a performance-driven culture. The role may also involve engagement with other projects related to the VVER initiatives within the Business Unit.

The Financial Project Controller I&C will be responsible for:

· Overseeing the Cost Control activities within their scope, including budget management, budget revisions, and Periodical Financial Reviews (PFR).

· Conducting monthly financial closings and reporting: ensuring adherence to budget commitments and implementing action plans to address any discrepancies.

· Supporting project cash management: forecasting cash inflows and outflows, as well as Operating Cash Flow.

· Defining the Cost Breakdown Structure while ensuring collaboration with other Project Control teams (Planning, PMO, R&O) to develop standardized and relevant tools, particularly to support commercial activities within the project.

· Establishing inter-company client/supplier links with the I&C GmbH Business Unit, taking into account the specificities of the Business Cases related to SAP Ambition.

· Implementing performance measurement tools in collaboration with the PMO, particularly focusing on Earned Value, and ensuring their adoption by operational teams. The individual will assist teams in their analyses and help define resulting action plans.

· Preparing multi-year financial planning (medium and long-term plans, resource/capacity alignment) and assessing the impact of various commercial scenarios.

· Managing interfaces between France and Germany to ensure proper coordination of financial data and project consolidation within the I&C framework.

· Liaising with cost control teams in Germany.

· Coordinating with auditors regarding their scope.

· Supporting the Senior Project Manager in managing interfaces with project partners.

Candidate Profile


• 8 to 10 years of experience in Large Project Control

• Experience in Reporting and Cost Analysis

• Background in long-term project management with an accounting framework for revenue recognition linked to Earned Value Management (EVM)

• Self-motivated and capable of working independently

• Strong team collaboration skills

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks

• Adaptability to changing project priorities

• Experience in managing multi-regional teams

• Proficiency in standard office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)

• Expertise in SAP Ambition, particularly regarding intra-group links between different Business Cases

• Excellent command of English
