Role Overview

We are looking for a Strategic Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Geneva. This role is pivotal in enhancing our financial planning and analysis capabilities. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, you will play a crucial role in supporting Proton's rapid growth by delivering essential financial insights and analyses.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining comprehensive financial models, conducting variance analyses, and assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, advanced proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with Pigment.
This position requires collaboration with various teams to collect and analyze financial data, identify trends, risks, and opportunities. You will prepare and review financial reports, provide insights to senior management, and ensure adherence to internal financial policies.
Additionally, you will contribute to ongoing financial reporting, offering actionable insights to support business objectives and enhance financial performance. This role also involves identifying process improvement opportunities, implementing best practices, and conducting training sessions for internal teams on financial planning tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the formulation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions (VBA).
  • Experience with Pigment or similar financial planning software.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptable to a dynamic environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in English and French.
