Position Overview: Actuary Casualty Mid-Market F/H
In this position, you will be accountable to the Pricing Manager for International Claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in pricing activities related to Casualty (claims) within the UK and APAC/Europe Mid-Market.
- Ensure AXA XL maintains its position as a frontrunner in technical pricing and portfolio management.
- Engage with actuarial and underwriting leaders to challenge provisions and capital modeling.
- Foster consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across the Mid-Market segment.
- Guarantee the efficiency of pricing processes, adherence to pricing guidelines, and execution of critical tasks such as planning and key pricing indicators.
- Provide training to underwriters in pricing and assist with pricing accounts, including portfolio transactions.
- Report results and indicators to support financial business partners and provisioning efforts.
- Gather local data and address underwriting analysis needs and challenges.
- Leverage other AXA XL capabilities, including Risk Consulting, Strategic Analytics, and Enterprise Data Solutions.
- Collaborate with the broader Casualty team to achieve objectives and support the development of junior team members.
