As a Junior Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and adapting analytical methods and tools in microbiology and molecular biology for the enumeration, identification, and characterization of microorganisms of interest in foods.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and optimize analytical methods for microbiology and molecular biology applications
- Ensure technical and bibliographic monitoring in the field of characterization and functionality of ferments and probiotics
- Build and maintain a network of analytical and scientific experts
- Manage analysis equipment and ensure quality control
- Participate in the development of new analytical methods and tools
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide analytical expertise and solutions
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual with a strong background in microbiology and molecular biology. You should have a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and at least 1-2 years of experience in analytical microbiology and molecular biology. You should also have strong technical skills, including classical and alternative microbiological analyses, method development and validation, and laboratory equipment management.
