About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Deputy Commodity Buyer to join our team at Faurecia. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will play a crucial role in deploying our commodity strategy, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement purchasing performance metrics to drive business growth
  • Conduct market research to identify suppliers and trends, and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives through supplier benchmarking and negotiation
  • Participate in supplier negotiations and lead resourcing actions and business cases
  • Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Update and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and prepare monthly results reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and price updates
Requirements
  • Master's degree in purchasing, engineering, or business specialization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented approach
  • Previous purchasing experience is a plus, but not mandatory
