Job Summary

Bertrandt is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Automotive Electronics team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems for vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and investigate electrical system issues on vehicles, including motor and transmission problems.
  • Prepare test equipment and software for testing, including realignment of hardware and software, and setup of instrumentation.
  • Conduct specific tests and investigations, including debugging and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and analyze test data, including vehicle performance and system behavior.
  • Analyze and resolve electrical system defects, including software and hardware issues.
  • Debug and calibrate electrical systems, including motor and transmission calibration.
  • Write and submit test reports, investigation reports, and defect reports.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues and clients.
  • Travel to client sites and within the company network to investigate and resolve electrical system issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including motor and transmission systems.
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools, including CANalyzer, DDT 2000, INCA, MDA, and Concerto.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English.
