Research Engineer Position in Analytical Chemistry/Process Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Engineer to join our team at IMT Mines Alès. The successful candidate will have expertise in analytical chemistry and process engineering, with a focus on indoor air quality and VOC sorption.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement experimental devices to characterise VOC sorption processes on earth-based materials
  • Analyse and interpret results, writing reports and presenting findings at project meetings
  • Collaborate with the RIME team to develop building comfort simulation tools

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years' experience in VOC analysis and adsorption on solid materials
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
