Job Title: Data Officer Delegate

CMA CGM is seeking a highly skilled Data Officer Delegate to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data strategy that leverages data as a strategic asset to drive business digital transformation and innovation.
  • Collaborate with various departments, CDOs, IT, and other stakeholders to identify data needs, limitations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive data initiatives and build data products (MDM, analytics, data science, AI).
  • Ensure data is leveraged to improve business performance, reduce costs, and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Establish clear definitions for data, associated rules, and ownership.
  • Apply data governance standards to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Implement processes to ensure data quality throughout its lifecycle (from collection to archiving).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior data management role, preferably as a CDO or similar.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data management, and data analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance related to data.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with big data technologies and platforms.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
