About the Role
Akeneo is seeking a talented Product Designer to join our Design team on a permanent basis. As a Product Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping the user experience of our products, working closely with product management and engineering to deliver exceptional value to our customers and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product design activities for your squad, from discovery to delivery, defining plans, methods, and bringing squad members together during your design journey.
- Lead user research end-to-end, leveraging the guidance from one of our User Researchers along the way.
- Design sketches, flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in collaboration with your squad & users/customers.
- Work closely with engineering to ensure a high-quality implementation and outstanding user experience.
- Co-design with your squad and Design peers, soliciting and providing constructive feedback on a regular basis.
- Work with our Design Ops and the rest of the Design team to continuously improve our ways of working.
- Ensure design consistency by contributing to our Design System, allowing us to continuously raise the bar of user experience for our entire product suite.
- Socialize design internally and externally, contributing to increasing the design maturity of the business at all levels, across all departments and teams.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in UX/UI/Product design, with a strong background in UX, including solid qualitative research skills and co-creation methods.
- Significant experience designing in a B2B environment, ideally in a software company.
- Fluency in English, as 70% of our customers don't speak French.
- Comfortable using Figma.
- Growth mindset, good emotional intelligence, and ability to adapt to change.
- Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.
