About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Data, Software and DevOps team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and overseeing the development of our scientific engine. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the success of our business use cases and driving innovation in our technical roadmap.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of our scientific engine, utilizing your expertise in Python and machine learning.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers to ensure their success and growth within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain high-quality software, adhering to internal standards and best practices.
- Participate in architecture meetings and design documents to shape the technical direction of our projects.
- Provide technical expertise to support the development of our risk models, data collection and visualization, and export of outputs.
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or data scientist.
- Strong expertise in Python, machine learning, and scientific computing.
- Experience with microservices architecture, Docker, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English and French.
