Purpose of the Job

  • Ensure the management of Project Quality and Safety manager (PrQSM) teams at site level.
  • Anticipate resource needs and consolidate the PrQSM workload for the site on a quarterly basis.
  • Develop a yearly training plan for teams and propose qualifications.
  • Control the application of the Development for Quality (DFQ) process and validate each milestone by the team.
  • Support the Project Team to ensure project Safety, Quality assurance by coordinating all quality and safety activities throughout the project.
  • Monitor Alstom Participating Units at DFQ level and measure their performance with the Project Management process correspondent.
  • Ensure that all REX of all métiers have been considered in the Risks & Opportunities and closely monitor to prevent occurrence.
  • Improve the tender quality during the tender phase upon request.

Accountabilities & Authorities

  • Customer Quality
  • Be the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams.
  • Ensure safety assessment is correctly implemented and prepare safety authorization.
  • Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure its proper application during contract execution.
  • Support project teams and PrQSM to prepare gate reviews and follow up related action plans.
  • Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits.
  • Manage Non-conformities and Safety issues and facilitate problem solving during project execution phase.

Performance Measurements (KPI)

  • On Time Gate Reviews and shared with TPP.
  • DFQ Look Ahead.
  • Number of remaining Safety or Customer issues.
  • Customer satisfaction.
  • PUs performance.

Job Requirements

  • Master degree in Engineering with Management background.
  • Experience in managing Quality tools and problem-solving tools.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Awareness of Processes and Products delivered in the project.
  • Fluent in English.
