Position Overview:
As a trainee within our esteemed team, you will acquire essential skills across various key areas of our department. Your responsibilities will encompass daily financial oversight, management of financing and guarantees operations handled by the Financial Management Division of Contests.

You will play an active role in the preparation of financial and regulatory reports, as well as risk centralization declarations submitted to the Bank of France and other institutions.

Moreover, you will assist in the development and revision of the accounting control framework, providing crucial support to the Department's cross-functional initiatives, topics, and projects related to accounting.

Additionally, you will aid in drafting and updating procedural documents and facilitating training sessions for agency accountants.

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a student enrolled in a French university or institution, available for an apprenticeship contract.

Compensation for interns at AFD is determined as a percentage of the Minimum Collective Wage, based on age and educational level.


Desired Qualifications:


We seek candidates with a background in finance or accounting at the Bachelor's level who are interested in pursuing a two-year apprenticeship.

A solid foundation of technical, organizational, and interpersonal skills is essential to join our team.

Technical Expertise:

  • Data Centralization and Integrity: Responsible for consolidating and ensuring the accuracy of various data, including accounting, social, and financial information. It is crucial to maintain data coherence and reliability, providing decision-making tools.
  • Accounting and Oversight: Record transactions, perform initial level controls to guarantee data coherence and reliability, and formalize accounting documentation. Assist central accounting with regulatory reporting and tax submissions.
  • Procedure Development: Contribute to the formalization of operational methods and procedures to ensure an efficient and well-organized structure.
