Logistics and Procurement Specialist

Sun Chemical Corporation, a leading producer of packaging and graphic solutions, color and display technologies, functional products, electronic materials, and products for the automotive and healthcare industries, is seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Procurement Specialist to join its Supply Chain department.

• Procurement Management: Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the site's technical equipment needs while ensuring compliance with EHS rules and group-defined regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and manage technical stocks, conducting replenishment as close to need dates as possible, and maintaining responsiveness.
• Article Database Updates: Regularly update the article database and create new references to reflect changing requirements.

• Customs Procedures: Act as a liaison with customs authorities, facilitating simplified customs procedures and coordinating the collection of goods from Switzerland.
• Purchase Order Management: Engage in follow-ups of current contracts, maintain close ties with suppliers, and implement new contracts while monitoring prices and market developments.

• Degree Requirement: A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Purchasing, or Customs.
• Experience: Significant experience in similar functions within an industry, preferably in the chemical sector.
• Skills: Proficiency in SAP, especially MM and PM modules; Office Pack familiarity; knowledge of customs regulations; and ability to work comfortably with rigor, method, and strong interpersonal skills.
