Senior Project Development and Coordination Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Development and Coordination Manager to join our team in Africa. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading company in the food industry, Danone, and contribute to our mission of bringing health through food to as many people as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement project strategies and plans to achieve business objectives in Africa, particularly in North Africa and Nigeria.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NGOs, marketing teams, and public affairs.
- Collaborate with project leaders to develop and implement projects that align with Danone's sustainability goals.
- Coordinate project implementation steps and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Develop and maintain a network of internal and external project managers, as well as social organizations and institutions.
- Contribute to the development of new business models and innovative solutions to address global challenges.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in project management and/or consultancy in the area of sustainability, sourcing, and operations.
- Experience in NGOs and/or agriculture and/or food industry, with a focus on upstream value chain and/or operations development.
- Knowledge of sustainability, agriculture, and/or circular economy is a plus.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with multi-functional teams.
- Flexible and adaptable, with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Leadership and influence skills.
- Fluent in English (French, Spanish, and other languages are a plus).
- Ability to travel across Europe on a monthly basis.
