Senior Carbon Manager

We are seeking a Senior Carbon Manager to join our team at Reforest'Action. As a key member of our Climate Solutions team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and certification of large-scale projects under the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) standards.
Your primary focus will be on operational, technical, and strategic supervision of a project portfolio, ensuring the operational performance and certification of AFOLU projects. You will also contribute to the structuring and development of the Climate Solutions team on project-related issues, including portfolio management, process optimization, and team skills development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and supporting the project team throughout the development process
- Ensuring the operational performance and certification of an AFOLU projects' portfolio
- Leading strategic interactions with the Project Implementer
- Validating and taking responsibility for all deliverables
- Providing technical contribution to commercial activities for project promotion and financing
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in the development of large-scale projects for the VCM (VCS/Gold standard)
- Experience in team management in a project context
- Field experience on ARR projects development
- Deep knowledge of certification methodologies
