Security Engineer, Security Automation, Security Operations Specialist

Amazon Data Services France SAS is seeking a highly motivated Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a key role in building and scaling security operations, while responding to security issues across the largest cloud provider in the world.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable incident response utilities and tools for internal use.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and improve security posture.
- Develop and maintain automated tools in languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Contribute to the strategic vision for the team and establish a roadmap for delivering engineering solutions.

- BS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience building scalable incident response utilities and tools for internal use.
- 3+ years of experience with web protocols and Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
- 2+ years of experience building automated tools in languages such as C, C++, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby.
- MS degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience on a Security Operations team.
- Experience with virtualisation technologies, familiarity with AWS services is highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of web protocols and an indepth knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and architecture.
- Wellrounded background in host, network and application security.
