About the Role
Orano Group is seeking a Nuclear Measurement Engineer to join our team in the Service Mesures et Caractérisation Nucléaires. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and maintenance in the fields of nuclear measurement and characterization.
Key Responsibilities
- Review technical documentation from equipment suppliers to identify potential anomalies or singularities in the operation of nuclear control process equipment.
- Analyze the return on experience of operating plants to understand the mechanisms of equipment aging in nuclear control process equipment.
- Provide expert opinions on the extension of these equipment.
- Develop or lead technical studies on the evolution, adaptation, or optimization of implemented equipment.
- Act as the technical contact for projects related to the sustainability of La Hague installations and projects led by the Direction des Programmes.
- Define and follow up on R&D actions necessary for the sustainability of process equipment, the maintenance of operational conditions of installations, and the optimization of implemented processes.
