Job Title: Project Management Officer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team at Arkema. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Accounts Payable Shared Service Centers activities, improving efficiencies by developing and implementing better Business/SAP processes, and defining and maintaining SLA contracts between entities & SSC in close coordination with SSC Heads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the Accounts Payable Shared Service Centers activities, including analyzing and summarizing metric information to manage, monitoring the success of the organization, establishing escalation processes, defining and following up on action plans, and reviewing monthly KPIs.
  • Improving efficiencies by developing and implementing better Business/SAP processes, including challenging the status quo on a daily basis to drive continuous improvement and automation, representing the AP function in all projects which have a Procure To Pay impact, driving Cegedim potential change, leading productivity, automation, and process improvement efforts in the payable area within the local teams and the SSCs, and working on the strategy to define the future of A/P organization for the US.
  • Defining and maintaining SLA contracts between entities & SSC in close coordination with SSC Heads, organizing a monthly review with CFD/RFD/SSC to monitor that activities within Service Level Agreements have been reached, following up monthly KPI to monitor and improve SSC performance, performing monthly analysis of the root causes of deficient processes and proposing corrective action plans to improve Data quality and process streamlining, identifying potential enhancements of Finance/Business processes to improve SSC efficiency & Finance accuracy, promoting necessary changes to the executive management and managing the change within the Transactional Finance SSC, providing guidance to SSC Heads, Country & Regional FD and BUs on how to best integrate businesses and companies from a processes and /organization perspective, performing cost-benefit analysis and benchmark versus best practices on the market to ensure the appropriate staffing and organisation of SSC, preparing, in close coordination with SSC and iTeam, yearly roadmap for continuous improvement with budget proposals according to strategic priorities and planned initiatives, ensuring smooth and active communication between the Transactional Finance SSC regarding new projects, new functionalities, and new tools, promoting Finance Transactional Target Operating Model and supporting SSC managers in streamlining their organization, proposing development of global new e.training modules or adaptations of existing e-learning modules in order to maintain & improve end users knowledge, contributing to Finance processes improvement to fit Arkema organization and ensuring access control to the system (Business roles, approval processes, review.. ) to make sure it remains compliant with the Group SOD risk policy, ensuring smooth evolutions of new tools and of its impact on SSC processes, analyzing with BPO any new regulations impacting Finance processes and initiating necessary actions in coordination with FT SSC, BPO & iTeam to meet compliance requirements in the deadline.

Requirements:

  • Minimum business school degree & more than 10 years Finance background.
  • Strong knowledge in Finance with a special interest in process, organization, and systems.
  • Experience with international SSC is a plus.
  • Capacities: organization, analytical insight, leadership, and innovation capacities, sense of priority, ability to work in a fast-paced & multi-cultural & multi-project environment.
  • Fluent in English and French.
