Regional Advocacy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Regional Advocacy Manager. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading international organization in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the implementation of advocacy campaigns across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands, working closely with stakeholders to achieve set objectives.
- Support the Area Manager in advocating industry positions to national governments and regulatory authorities.
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with Member airlines, airports, authorities, suppliers, and service providers across the region.
- Provide timely reports to the Area Manager, Regional Vice President, and Regional Leadership Team regarding progress of work and achievement of set objectives.
- Attend meetings and conferences with industry stakeholders, organizing briefings as necessary.
- Contribute to developing relationships with non-Member airlines and promoting IATA's services and products.
- Actively support sales efforts, providing advice to the Area Manager on IATA's portfolio of products and services.
- Enhance local communication with stakeholders and provide guidance and leadership at the regional level on key regulatory issues.
- 10 years of professional experience, with at least 3 in a similar role.
- Experience in the aviation industry and in aviation environmental issues would be an asset.
- Proven project management skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent social skills.
- Sharp analytical skills, excellent oral presentation skills, and fluency in French and English.
