Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Capijobnew. As a key member of our IT operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and systems.

Responsibilities

  1. Install and configure applications in test, preprod, and prod environments
  2. Maintain and develop installation routines to ensure efficient deployment
  3. Monitor application performance in production, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner
  4. Profile system performance and resource consumption to optimize system efficiency
  5. Check application and system logs to troubleshoot issues
  6. Configure data backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity
  7. Perform database profiling and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  8. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for internal teams and customers
  9. Analyze problems and provide detailed descriptions and supporting facts to development teams
  10. Support development teams in preparing application releases and providing anonymized data for migration tests
  11. Execute database queries for functional analysis and provide technical consulting on system and network matters
  12. Write system and network-related documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and onboarding
  13. Act as the primary point of contact for Verifino customer support and application hosting providers
  14. Onboard and offboard Verifino users in preprod and prod environments
  15. Restore customer tenants in the application and perform technical migrations of legacy software customers
  16. Optional: provide system administration support for the development team

Communication

  1. Participate in regular meetings with DevOps and development teams to ensure seamless collaboration
  2. Manage incident processes together with the Project Owner
  3. Fluent English and/or German language skills are required
  4. First point of contact for SIO topics and presales support on system and network matters

Qualifications

  1. Advanced Windows system administration skills, including:
  • Windows services and scheduled tasks
  • Internet Information Server (IIS)
  • Eventlog analysis
  • Basic SQL Server administration, including SQL language
  • Basic network administration and protocol skills for troubleshooting
  • Knowledge and utilization of system, network, and SQL Server monitoring tools
  • Automation with Powershell scripting
  • Optional: Azure Hosting experience
