Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Science Engineer to join our team. As a Data Science Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and associated data lakes to support our climate modeling efforts. You will work closely with data scientists and software engineers to develop and deploy machine learning models, and collaborate with DevOps engineers to ensure the reliable deployment of our models in production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines and associated data lakes to support climate modeling efforts
  • Develop and maintain connections to external and internal APIs
  • Implement CI/CD and release pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of models
  • Develop notification tools to inform the team of the status of operations
  • Assess and propose data storage, data processing, and data visualizing tools
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Python object-oriented programming
  • Experience converting Python code to efficient data engineering tools
  • Production experience with Docker and a cloud provider (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
  • Good knowledge of English and fluency in French
