Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Accuray. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment, primarily in the medical care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain Accuray systems at customer sites, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, providing effective solutions to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to develop and implement service documentation and training programs.
- Participate in product development and quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, adhering to Accuray's Safety Program and Quality System.
Requirements:
- BTS or DUT in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent by experience.
- At least 2 years' hands-on experience in Field Service, installation, and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment, preferably in the medical care industry.
- Excellent hardware and software computer skills, including network knowledge, and ability to quickly learn new software tools.
- Strong customer relations skills, with a robust service-oriented approach and ability to work efficiently with customers and colleagues in difficult situations.
- Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in local language and English.
- Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% travel time), sometimes on short notice, and occasional after-hours support requirements.
