Operations Manager

As a key member of the Indonesia Region team, the Area Operations Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our driver-partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain, handling full operational activities, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and manage day-to-day operations, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and driver welfare.
- Ensure compliance with area regulations and SOPs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve shared targets and improve driver performance.
- Manage driver exit processes, including suspension and inventory management.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce driver expenses and provide alternative income opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Area Head to resolve escalated issues and improve driver services.
- Work closely with the Sales and Consumer Engagement team to achieve shared targets in the area.
- Collaborate with the Public & Government Relation team and Local Government to address operational issues.
- Manage the end-to-end process for the Driver Support Unit in the area.
- Ensure SOP and legal compliance in the specific area.
- Develop and evaluate programs to generate high-quality drivers in the region.
- Support the Regional Operations Head in product changes roll out and strategic implementation in the region.
- At least 5 years of experience in operations, preferably at the managerial level and from a multinational company.
- Strong analytical thinking, insights generating, and complex problem-solving skills using various improvement tools and methods.
- Good understanding of supply and demand planning.
- Experience in managing a small team (more than 3 members).
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to create creative solutions to operation issues and empower relevant teams to execute properly.
- Able to handle communication in community or mass conflict.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in spoken and written English.
The Area Operations Manager will work under the direct command of the Area Head and collaborate with the regional operations team on some projects. This role will lead the Operations team and play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life for drivers and ensuring sufficient supply for consumers. The successful candidate will feel great satisfaction in creating a social impact through their work.
