Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and forward-thinking Project Management Officer to join our Project Controls team in France. As a Project Management Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring project interfaces and deliverables, stakeholder management, and reporting across programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up project standards and documentation, including project management plans and control plans.
- Establish reporting tools and communication protocols.
- Participate in the setup and support of training sessions for tools such as Aconex and OPC.
- Action control system setup, including interface matrices and action control dashboards.
- Contribute to the definition of competencies for project team members.
- Regular reporting, including weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Review and update management plans, including reporting and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular status reports for all levels of the organization and the project team.
- Gather pertinent information and reports from the PMO stream, WP leaders, PMs, and stakeholders for integration into periodical and special reports and presentations.
- Regular presentations internally and externally.
- Follow up on deliverable delivery, initiate mitigation plans or corrective actions as needed.
- Follow up with the design interface management team on open actions until closure.
- Participate in or coordinate meetings with relevant teams on interface topics for integrating relevant elements into reporting components.
- Internal meetings on specific items and related dashboards based on concerns that arise during the project.
- Distribute relevant information to relevant entities.
- Monitor deliverables.
- Support scope changes.
- Assist the PMO Manager and PMs in coordinating and timely information availability from the project team.
Requirements
- Diploma in Project/Program Management or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with project management according to PMI methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large projects.
- Good experience in software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, and similar systems.
- Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment. Life sciences experience is preferred.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Strong and demonstrable ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering the best work to our clients and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full professional proficiency in French and English is required.
