Project Management Officer

Turner & Townsend is seeking a highly skilled Project Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our Project Controls team, you will be responsible for monitoring project interfaces and deliverables, managing stakeholders, and reporting across programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish project standards and documentation, including project management plans and control plans.
  • Set up reporting tools and communication protocols to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in the setup and support of project tools, including training sessions for Aconex/OPC.
  • Configure action control systems, including interface matrices and action control dashboards.
  • Contribute to the definition of competencies for project team members.
  • Prepare regular reporting, including weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • Review and update management plans, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Prepare status reports for all levels of the organization and the company.
  • Gather relevant information and reports from PMO streams, WP leaders, PMs, and stakeholders for integration into periodical and special reports.
  • Present regular updates internally and externally.
  • Follow up on deliverable delivery, initiating mitigation plans or corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with design interface management teams to close open actions.
  • Participate in meetings with task teams to integrate relevant elements into reporting components.
  • Hold internal meetings on specific items and related dashboards.
  • Distribute relevant information to relevant entities.
  • Monitor deliverables and support scope changes.
  • Assist PMO managers and PMs in coordinating and providing timely information from the project team.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Project/Program Management or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with project management according to PMI methodology (or equivalent) for medium to large projects.
  • Proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Primavera P6, Power BI, and similar systems.
  • Relevant work experience, ideally in a consultancy environment. Life sciences experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and driven, with a passion for delivering high-quality work to clients and working independently and as part of a team.
  • Full professional proficiency in French and English is required.
