About the Job
This role is part of the Retail Design Development Center EMEA (RDDC EMEA), a creative department that drives innovation and excellence in retail design and sustainability.
The Sustainability Assistant EMEA will support the Corporate Retail & Sustainability Manager in developing and implementing sustainable initiatives across the region.
About Your Responsibilities:
- Communication:
- Develop and maintain sustainability guidelines and best practices in accordance with global recommendations.
- Prepare engaging presentations for various stakeholders, including regional and global management, RDDC members, and ELC EMEA affiliates.
- Cascade information received from ELC Global team to ensure seamless implementation.
- Organize peer-to-peer approach with regional teams to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Prepare quarterly sustainability newsletters to keep stakeholders informed.
- Support:
- Assist the Corporate Retail & Sustainability Manager in developing and implementing sustainable projects.
- Support RDDC members in their sustainable development initiatives.
- Update existing sustainable tools and resources to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
- Research:
- Source new sustainable materials and update the existing database to ensure it remains comprehensive and up-to-date.
- Monitor competitors' sustainable initiatives to stay informed and identify best practices.
- Reporting:
- Regroup and analyze RDDC sustainable projects to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.
- Report RDDC improvements and developments to regional and global teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Establish tools and processes to encourage sustainable practices in store design and visual merchandising.
Requirements:
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for sustainability and a strong understanding of business operations.
Qualifications:
- Student in sustainability or business school with a focus on sustainability.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in French and English (mandatory).
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and SharePoint.
