Job Opportunity: Quantum Metasurfaces Researcher

At INRIA, we are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our Atlantis project-team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and applying advanced numerical methods for the design and analysis of quantum metasurfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement high-order discontinuous Galerkin time-domain methods for simulating the interaction of single photons with metasurfaces.
  • Collaborate with physicists to develop theoretical models and interpret simulation results.
  • Design and optimize quantum information processing metasurface configurations.

Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in computational electromagnetics, finite element methods, and numerical optimization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Fortran 2003.
  • Experience with parallel programming using MPI and OpenMP.
