Alice & Bob is a pioneering startup developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to tackle the world's most complex challenges.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Junior System and Network Administrator to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge IT infrastructure. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing and improving our IT systems, ensuring seamless operation, and implementing security measures to protect our data.
Key Responsibilities:- Systems:
- Manage and improve the infrastructure of our IT systems, including servers (Linux 95%, Windows 5%) and physical machines attached to scientific equipment.
- Work on deployment automation of servers and services via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Automate IT tasks, including deployment of tools/settings, updates, monitoring, conformity, and security enhancements.
- Implement, review, and enhance SSO workflows within SaaS platforms for optimal functionality and security.
- Oversee and manage IT systems and main corporate IT software on-premise or SaaS (GitLab, internal wiki, file server, office suite, mail server, Slack).
- Work with the IT support team to manage our MDM platforms (Kandji/Intune) to ensure conformity and security.
- Monitor our IT infrastructure and tools to ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Incident management.
- Work on IT incident management, including incident communication and post-mortem reports.
- L2/L3 support and troubleshooting.
- Network:
- Manage, maintain, and monitor our networking infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
- Security:
- Manage tools and services related to security and compliance, including Identity Provider (IDP), SSO, EDR, antispam, password manager, and domain names.
- Work on security policies with our security officer.
- You will also:
- Evaluate the needs and requests of the IT team or end-users to offer them technical solutions.
- Work on technical IT projects while collaborating with various engineering teams.
- Work with suppliers and partners when needed.
- Monitor technological developments within your field of work to identify innovative tools/methods that could lead to improvements.
- Share your knowledge with others, either technical or non-technical users (knowledge base, training of colleagues, internal talks).
