About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Animateur.rice (H/F) to join our team at SOS Villages d'Enfants in Fontcouverte, France.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of programs for children and youth, including planning and leading activities, workshops, and events.
  • Provide support and guidance to children and youth in a group or individual setting, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to ensure the well-being and safety of children and youth, and to provide a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to promote the organization's mission and goals.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the organization by participating in team meetings, training sessions, and other activities as required.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in a field such as education, social work, or youth development.
  • Experience working with children and youth, preferably in a residential or community setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Fluency in French and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
