With a leadership team that has directly managed and invested in over eighty small to large-size healthcare companies globally, representing over €50 billion of combined value, ARCHIMED manages over €8 billion in healthcare assets across its various funds.
The RoleAs a key member of the ARCHIMED Consulting Team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and scaling the company's internal market intelligence initiative towards its investment team and portfolio companies.
You will lead internal commercial due diligences, working closely with the investment team, and drive the optimization of the due diligence process both internally through mentoring & training and externally, managing advisors' relationships.
Upstream, you will actively participate in ARCHIMED's strategic reflection within its sector teams, contributing to target markets prioritization. Downstream, you will also contribute to shaping & delivering on a large-scale value creation initiative for the company's portfolio companies.
Key Responsibilities- Identify new sub-sectors of investment and build the company's investment thesis
- Organize and deliver sub-sector deep dives
- Conduct internal commercial due diligences on targets and exit due diligences
- Manage strategic assessment projects for the company's portfolio companies
- Reinforce the company's healthcare sectors market watch
- Handle partnerships with strategy consulting providers, oversee external CDD or strategy projects
- Develop the company's internal market intelligence culture by delivering focused trainings
Aptitudes and Skills we look for:
- Experienced strategy consulting professional - 5 to 7 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, Venture Capital / Private Equity with a strong exposure to due diligence
- Expertise in healthcare industries - Strong knowledge of Diagnostics, MedTech, Life Science, and/or Pharma Services industries
- Business acumen - Ability to identify emerging sector trends, to build or challenge an investment thesis
- Leadership - Capacity to drive decision making in a deal process or in interaction with the company's portfolio companies
- Communication - Excellent communication, interpersonal & public speaking skills
- Attitude - Passionate individual with an agile & hands-on mindset, able to work in close team dynamics
- Fluent English
