Industrial Risk Management Specialist, RAC Business Area

Imerys is seeking a highly skilled Environment & Industrial Risk Manager to join our RAC Business Area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving and evolving a robust management system that ensures full compliance with applicable regulations and relevant group policies and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive and evolve a robust management system to ensure compliance with regulations and group policies.
- Promote industry best practices to reduce negative environmental impact and drive sustainability in the business area.
- Coordinate transversal industrial risk management initiatives and projects, such as climate change, process safety, and loss prevention audit follow-up.
- Identify, analyze, and alert on business impacts of regulatory changes by observing trends in important environmental legislations.
- Consolidate environmental performance data and monitor the implementation of the environmental roadmap in the business area.
- Translate the Group's ambitions into objectives and action plans at the business area level or at the level of priority operations.
- Regularly conduct environmental audits and reviews regarding water use and discharge, air emissions control, waste management, biodiversity impact, energy consumption, and carbon footprint.
- Coordinate process safety assessment at target sites, follow up on improvement action plans from process safety and FM Global loss prevention audit, and provide timely input for the CAPEX budget process.
- Act as the BA champion for evolving environmental programs, environmental incident/crisis management, and assigned task force on sustainability.
- Lead the environmental community to foster effective communication and collaboration, as well as the development of expertise in the business area.
- Master's degree in an environmental engineering discipline or relevant leadership experiences in sustainability, industrial improvement, process, and energy.
- ~8+ years' experience in industrial companies' operations environment, with specific managerial experience on multiple-site risk management in an international context.
- ~Fluent in writing and speaking in English and French, and any other European language will be a plus.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills to engage regional business contacts and interact in a cross-functional and inter-cultural environment.
- Proficient in the use of Google Suites, common collaboration tools, social networks, and media for efficient collaboration and effective communication.
