DevOps Engineer for Cloud-Native Data Platform

emagine Consulting is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team and contribute to the development of a cutting-edge cloud-native data platform.

We are building a modern environment for comprehensive data insights, encompassing traditional BI, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. Our mission is to empower our users with a scalable and efficient data and analytics platform that enables them to focus on delivering valuable insights rather than spending time on administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with your team to build and maintain our enterprise platform on Azure, focusing on advanced data processing, analytics, and machine learning use cases.
  • Design, implement, and manage the infrastructure for our data platform, ensuring adherence to security best practices and GDPR guidelines.
  • Optimize the performance and cost efficiency of our existing cloud infrastructure.
  • Establish robust platform networking configurations.
  • Continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge.
Our Tech Stack:

We leverage Azure extensively, complemented by select non-Microsoft tools. You will work with technologies such as:

  • Azure Data stack
  • Terraform and Bicep
  • Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting
  • Kubernetes
Qualifications:

We are looking for a highly motivated DevOps Engineer with a strong understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.

  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud resources, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory, storage accounts, key vaults, Azure Functions, and Logic Apps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory) and access models for Azure resources.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep or Terraform).
  • Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps YAML pipelines).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking concepts.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies.
  • Commitment to Azure security best practices.
