The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Integration, Verification, and Qualification (SIVQ) Manager to lead the qualification of embedded intelligence systems for a family of autonomous drones. These systems leverage Naval Group's cutting-edge technologies to provide controlled autonomy to drones operating in the maritime domain under stringent military requirements.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive plans for the integration, verification, and qualification of software systems that govern drone decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with Naval Group's quality standards.
- Coordinate and schedule integration, verification, and qualification activities across various programs and departments to optimize efficiency and minimize project overlap.
- Continuously analyze and enhance the status of software system qualification, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
- Research and implement innovative methods and tools to streamline software system integration and qualification processes, driving continuous improvement.
- Facilitate clear communication and feedback regarding conformity with stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the process.
- Actively participate in integration and qualification campaigns, providing technical expertise and guidance.
Your Profile
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with significant experience in software development and/or software IVQ.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices applicable to tactical software development.
- Exhibit proven experience in managing software integration, verification, and qualification projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines and budgets.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Be familiar with lifecycle management tools (PLM) and software engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
