About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at ArcelorMittal. As a key member of our industrialization team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a breakthrough decarbonization process for the steel industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a specific pilot line for the development of the electro-extraction of iron in alkaline medium/low temperature technology
  • Implement and commission the pilot facility, ensuring validation of R&D solutions for industrialization at large scale
  • Coordinate tests scheduling and protocols definition, participate in maintenance operations, troubleshooting, and improvements
  • Participate in establishing the investment file for the future industrial plant
  • Provide technical support for the future industrial line, potentially abroad
Requirements
  • Master's degree in mechanical or electromechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial process operation and/or support
  • Experience in electrochemical industrial processes (electrogalvanizing, electrotinning, copper or zinc electrowinning or electrorefining)
  • Experience in maintenance, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and sub-contractors
  • Advanced levels of English and French
  • Entrepreneurship, pragmatism, leadership, and driving force of proposals
