We are seeking a highly skilled Android Driver Developer to join our team at ThunderSoft Europe.
About the Role:
- Conduct recurring stress tests on Android mobile phones and fusion products to identify online problems and ensure compatibility with local third-party applications.
- Analyze fault logs from users, troubleshoot codes, and locate the root cause of problems independently or with the assistance of the headquarter.
- Collaborate with the R&D department to deploy problem analysis and locating tools, and accumulate and construct problem locating capabilities.
- Travel to user sites to resolve problems when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, engineering, communication, electronics, information technology, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Java, C/C++ programming languages, and knowledge of Linux operating systems and Android SDK.
- At least 1-5 years of experience in Linux driver development, with a minimum of 3 types of driver development experience, such as HDM, LCD, touch, camera, USB, bt/wifi/GPS, sensor, power, etc.
- Familiarity with Android driver debugging processes and experience in systematic problem analysis, handling, and debugging.
- Knowledge of the Android platform and experience in Android application and framework development.
- Familiarity with Android debug tools, including ADB, Systrace, Serial tools, and Android log analysis capabilities.
- Fluent written and verbal English skills within a working environment, with great Chinese communication skills preferred.
About the Project:
The client is a top mobile phone manufacturer in China, and this is an onsite project. Engineers will work in the customer's office in Germany, with occasional short business trips to user sites for bug debugging.
