About the Role



We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team at Qlik. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our innovative software solutions.



Key Responsibilities




  • Design and develop high-quality software components, ensuring they meet quality standards and are robust and reliable.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers and stakeholders, to ensure that requirements are clear and the final product meets high standards of quality and functionality.
  • Produce technical designs, code, test, and document software solutions, with the autonomy to own your deliverables from start to finish.
  • Diverse and engaging projects: Engage in a variety of projects that challenge your technical skills and creativity, from designing technical specifications to coding and testing software.
  • Autonomy and ownership: Take full ownership of your assigned deliverables, allowing you to influence the product directly and see your contributions come to life.
  • Collaborative environment: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product designers and customers, to ensure that requirements are clear and the end product is top-notch.
  • Continuous learning: Opportunities to mentor others, suggest product improvements, and stay updated with the latest industry standards and tools, ensuring your skills remain sharp and relevant.
  • Impactful work: Your work will directly contribute to the organization's goals, as you help create products that meet customer needs and exceed quality standards.


Requirements




  • Good knowledge of Java, Springboot, PostgreSQL, OAuth, Spring Security.
  • Knowledge of Apache Kafka, Solace, MongoDB, good understanding of the microservices architecture (nice to have).
  • Good understanding of SCIM protocol, Spring authorization server (bonus).
  • Ability to process and evaluate information, establish conclusions, identify patterns, and predict outcomes.
  • Capacity to anticipate customers' needs and prioritize them in your thinking and actions.
  • Ability to identify potential risks, measure their impact, escalate when necessary, and minimize risks through corrective actions.
  • Proficiency in using system development tools and frameworks according to established working routines.
  • Capacity to learn new technology domains and understand current technology trends.
  • General understanding of standards, trends, test processes, methods, and models within the IT industry.
  • Experience with automation, various types of testing (e.g., application, API, performance testing), setting up test environments, and metrics management.
