At Alstom, we're looking for a skilled Accounting Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the business to deliver performance through the application of forex and project accounting policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the development of the Finance community through training courses and animation of the Global/Region accounting Network.
- Ensure the application of forex accounting models and provide support to Finance Efficiency related to ERP process improvements.
- Support local teams on Functional Currency setup and related IAS 21 and IFRS 9 topics.
- Act as an IFRS specialist on technical subjects related to Forex and project accounting for the benefit of Regions & Business.
- A Master's degree from a Business school or equivalent high school degree.
- English proficiency (mandatory) - Additional language a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years' Audit experience or equivalent.
- Some experience/knowledge in Forex and long-term contracts business.
- Knowledge of SAP BFC or other consolidation tool.
- Good experience of ERP SAP is a plus.
